    Don't be discouraged! It seems like a lot at first going from jail to ltc...but its not that bad. I have only been a LPN for 4yrs. I've done contracts for prisons in 3 states and have done a great deal of LTC. Key thing to remember is if you get frustrated...take 5 min of time to yourself and regroup! In one month you will be running your area like a vet! I have faith in you! Gossip is everywhere..healthcare is the worst in gossip, and you will find a lot of things where you work that make you go hmmm I'm sure, there is a huge difference in what you learn in school and the real world but you will love it! I do! (I assumed your a new nurse...if you aren't I apologize) one more thouht treat your aides great because they can make you or break you! Good luck!!

    Started orientation and yes it's alot of work and things to remember but looks like nothing can't handle ,,got two more weeks of orientation so we will see!! Keep yall posted
