Need advice pls!!

I attended a school located in N.J. for LPN I took the exit exam and successfully passed, but what was mindboggling is the fact that I have to submit 6000 practice NCLEX ?'s and must score 90%, before I take can the board examination and this is expected of all students by the D.O.N . I find this to be obsurd. please help I'm all ears to anyones advice.

Well I think submitting that many practice questions is a bit much. But it sounds kind of like what myself and my peers had to do to exit out of my LPN program. I took and passed my last finals, in march of 06. But we could not go on because our school made us do a mandatory review that lasted a month, and then we had to take 3 exit exams, and if you failed one you had to do more review. Luckily, I passed each one on the first try, it still took 3 months after officially completing nursing school, to become nclex eligible. Now , that I'm done I can be happy for the rig-a-maro they put us through, because I did pass the nclex on the first try.
So, my advice to you, first make sure they said 6000 practice questions, and not 600. If they did indeed say that many, get to practicing, I can assure you, it can only help.

thanks for your response I really appreciate it. I thought it was abnormal to have to submitt 6000 practice nclex exam ?'s and must score a 90% before taking my boards. I took my exit in October of last year and so far I only answered 1500 practice ?'s I feel soooooo overwhelmed. I thought once I was done with my exit I'd be able to take my PN boards but unfortunately I thought wrong. Can you recommend a study guide with Nclex-PN?'s that u think may be helpful

I'm pretty sure they mean 600 questions and not 6000 but no matter what it will be helpful..It is in the best interests of the program to keep their stats up.They want you all to pass the NCLEX
