Nclex Tips

I am taking the NCLEX in 40 days, and I thought maybe those who have taken it and passed would be willing to share their tips. Study tips, relaxation tips will help. I am interested in the online review sponsored by the National Council of State Board (NCSBN) has anyone used this review if so was it helpful or is Kaplan review more helpful? Has anyone used Suzzane4 study plan? was it helpful? I'm a newbie, any words of advice??

Thank you

Well, first let me link you to this post http://allnurses.com/forums/f99/thos...pn-243820.html

Then, I will say that you should try to sit alone for a few minutes before you enter the exam room. Center yourself. Tell yourself that no matter what happens, you will and have tried your best. Be confident in yourself. Check out eriworld.com for some good practice tests and review videos. I use Ealys review CD.. it helped alot. Good luck with it!

When I graduated from my nursing program, we were encouraged to attend a workshop that we had to pay for but it was definitely worth it.

We were told what to expect from the exam site, what might be on the exam, given practice tests and a pep talk.

They instructed us to do any study ahead of time, not the night before or the day of the exam, eat not too heavily and for sure get a good nights sleep before the exam.

Do your best. For me: Yahweh God is in charge of my outcomes.
