The government does offer loan forgiveness, but you have to work in certain areas to get it. Perhaps you can get some of the debt you already owe forgived??
How much is the LPN to RN if I may ask? I got $7000 in loans for my RN to BSN program (took the tuition reimbursement and am committed to where I work, and am applying for loan forgiveness) and the payback is only $52.00 per month.
I would think with the raise you're going to get from getting your RN it might be worth getting more loans as long as it's not one of those private schools that charge 30 grand.
