There are so many red flags wavng, I'm not sure which to address first.

First of all, I am not aware of any reputable on-line or self study LPN programs that are approved by any BON anywhere in the U.S.

Secondly, you would have to spend 3 months out of the country participating in clinicals and NCLEX-PN review.

Lastly, even if you complete the program and pass NCLEX, you have no assurance of licensure in the U.S. I am not aware of any facilities sponsoring foreign-educated LPNs for employment, only RNs, and that is a long and difficult process.

Save yourself a huge headache and apply to a reputable local school.

For the same amount of time and cost in airfare, you can probably get a LPN from a vo-tech or community college. I agree, too many red flags.

I would not be comfortable. I heard of a similar program here in New York that was a total rip off. I think they took close to $6000 from each student and suddenly disappeared from the face of the earth.

In addition, I don't feel I would be comfortable learning nursing skills from home...you definitely need hands on to correlate theory and skills. How would you listen to lung and bowel sounds...administer sub-q and IM injections? Bedbaths and beyond, you need to be in the classroom to practice. In addition, to displace yourself out of the country to practice in God only knows where...I mean, where will you be housed? What conditions will you be living under? Nope, I echo the others...stay here and attend an accredited program.

Stay away. I heard about that same NY program here in Brooklyn and one in Queens and they were not legitimate at all. When in doubt, call your BON.

SCAM ALERT!

Please RUN away from this program and never look back. LPNs are not even recognized in the Philippines so I do not know what kind of game they play. The only nursing programs in the Philippines are BSNs.

Please go to you BON's website and find an approved LPN program in your area.
