I passed NCLEX PN!

Updated Sep 16, 2006 at 11:16 PM by Bala Shark

I graduated in the end of May 2006...I took NCLEX in September 6 and found out today I passed! I suppose to take the NCLEX in August 14 but I kept on moving the test date up, three weeks up...My computer shut off at 170 which is a high amount of questions..Actually, I found some of the question in NCLEX quite easy and not very difficult at all..The harder questions were based on content, strict content..But some of the questions were just dead give aways..

Now is the hard part in finding a job..Now, I have to start looking tommorow, hopefully I will find a job soon..

Yes, the Kaplan NCLEX book, I did about 1100 questions..And the Saunders I did about 3000 questions..Dont ask me why I did them but I took the advice from the NCLEX board in allnurses..Their advice was quite good..It got me through the exam but somehow, I think iI over studied..Maybe that is why, I thought some of the questions were too easy..

I know this wasn't directed at me, but let me assure you that there are that many questions and more...

Many people (myself, included) have used even more resources than just one book, because they tell you to practice, practice, practice questions. I used to do about 150-300 per day studying for my boards, and I was finished with a 1000 question book within a week. But, bottom line, I am a nurse, now! You can do it, too!:mortarboard: Once you get into it, you will find that it becomes habitual...like cigarettes, food, waking up... LOL
