I just turned 20 where to work as a nurse

Well I just turned 20 and I just got my license as an LVN here in Los Angeles California... I'm not sure were to work but one thing I do know is no med-surge or sub acute... I am really scared do to the fact that Im still young and many pt didn't believe i was their nurse going through the program i was 19 many of them were scared i didn't know what i was doing... I got treated basically as a joke but in the end many realized that i did know what i was doing so it wasn't to bad...pls what do you all my nurses think i should work in... i love every field besides the one I just mentioned above... tell me somewhere were a new young nurse will be comfortable ...maybe nursing home?...pls HELP me on this one Thank you all of you
