I read through the rest of the thread and I am just dumbfounded. Are you presenting yourself professionally? Well dressed? A little make-up, neatly groomed, smiling, using proper english, a firm handshake, etc? Is your resume free of typos or spelling errors?
I am not bragging, but since I have been an LVN, I have been offered every job I have applied for. I don't think I am special, just friendly, and employers are desperate for nurses.

    Hello -

I am a new grad LVN and job seaker. Sounds like there may be difficulty getting that first job now that local hospitals are no longer hiring LVNs.

I am particularly interested in hospice, however, and those that do hire us require experience in hospitals.

Home health sounds like a good place to get some experience. Any ideas where to look for those kinds of agencies. Don't see them in yellow pages.

    Thanks

But the bad news is that there is a probation peroid...Thank you for all the replies..And by the way, it was my first interview that got me the job..It just took a while for her to get back at me..
