How long was your wait for the NCLEX-PN?

Hey guys

I'm from ohio, and I am no where near graduation, I am only in my 2nd month of school, and I graduate in June. But I am just wondering how long you guys had to wait after graduation to actually sit for your test. The LPN's who graduated from my school all have said that had to wait a good 2 months after graduation.... what is the hold up?

I graduated in July. I just took my boards on Sept. 11th. A friend of mine took her 2 weeks after graduation. I could have but opted to wait I had my ATT on August 8th, but waited to test.

im in california and i had to wait 2 months too. there is a lot of paperwork that has to be sent in and they also have to do an FBI check too. then you have to wait for your authorization to test via e-mail.

I took NCLEX-PN for the California BVNPT, which takes the longest.

I completed school on 10-14, received my ATT on 11-21, and tested on Dec. 28. I received my passing result on Jan. 9.

I am in Boston and it took about 6wks....after all your paperwork has gone thru, payment for testing received etc., you will receive an email stating how soon you can test. You can then schedule your own date from there assuming the date is available.

I am in Iowa and I registered for the NCLEX by telephone and used an email address to have my ATT emailed to. It only took 2 days and I could set up a date to take the test. Dates were available within two weeks.
