My dentist's hygenist loves her job, gets paid leave to upgrade her skills and gets all her breaks. She works in an office where she gets free parking and the dentist provides her with a uniform allowance.
No working on holidays, the office is closed and she gets to go on vacation when she wants.
But then anything to do with cavities and gum diseases just isn't for me.
I wouldn't be a hygienist due to the fact that it is just as much school as nursing. However, as an assistant the hours are good too. The pay can be decent. To start maybe not more than $13 an hour but you can definately make more the more you are in the field. I dunno, I just don't know what to do. I am up in the air now and I hate feeling this way. But, I think I'd rather be in mouths than cleaning up feces or oozing sores....
