Has anyone gone to the Medical Careers Institute

Hello, and thanks for taking time to check out my thread. I was accepted to attend MCI in the fall of this year and I am really nervous. I am excited, but more worried on how to pay for the school, and in the end am I going to like it and if its going to be the right training I need to be in the nursing field! Is it really going to affect me having just a diploma but not a degree in practical nursing? If anyone has attended this school, please help me out and tell me how your experience was.

I went and just graduated on feb 2009. It was tough, classes are 5 weeks long and then you move on to something else. I made it out alive and I am proud of my diploma

I graduated as an RN on April 30. I am employed in a surgical unit with Sentara. Pricey school? Yes. Quick? Yes. You have to do the math, but it is taking a long time to get there through more traditional schools these days. I was employed competing with Sentara's own graduates. You are your interview. You always have been.

Hi, did you enjoy the RN program, I am trying to go there in the fall. I also wanted to know how are the teachers and is the tuition to much?
