Greetings

Hi ALL
I'm new to this forum.
I graduated from an LPN program last month. I'm getting ready for the State Boards. It's exciting to be a graduate nurse.
I'm using Saunders, Mosby's & Kaplan for my review. My classmate whose mother is an RN, suggests using the learningext/NCSBN. Anyone ever used that and passed? Is it comparable to the NCLEX exams. Saunders seems very good with the content, but not strategy, I think the CD is good, but I also think some of the questions are a little too easy or simply too close to nursing school type test questions. My instructors recommended KAPLAN. Some students say the pearson review is also good. I really want to focus on some solid review materials, as there are alot out there. Any input or ideas to prepare for the NCLEX-PN will be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi Greentea welcome and congrats on graduating! I recently graduated in June took boards last month and just got my license # today. Getting ready for NCLEX can be stressful. I used the saunders and found it helpful for me. Maybe you could utilize several different books/methods to prepare. congrats again!

Saunders is excellent for nursing-related content, and Kaplan is superb for the sheer amount of test-taking strategies that it offers. Good luck to you!
