I looked through my notes to see and it appears that I submitted a resume and cover letter to them but because it all happened so quickly I just cannot be sure. I am so nervous - like I am going to go in there and forget all my skills. I haven't interviewed for a professional job in almost 5 years - and never for something that I wanted this bad. I know I need to calm down - I feel so thankful that I am finally getting calls/emails back - so regardless of what happens it will be a learning experience.
It is about an hour away from me. I am trying to find sections on here that talk about interview questions, etc. I am also trying to figure out how to balance my confidence and nervousness. AHH!!! All I have ever wanted to do is be a nurse - and now I have an interview. Will they ask me to do skills? I talked to the ADON briefly as she was in a rush - she seemed pretty anxious about meeting me and talking to me more about the position. Will they test my skills tomorrow? Where should I go review my skills if they do? When you all went on your first entry level LPN job interview what did you do? What are some tips? I definitely need to calm down. Thanks for any positive feedback. It is much appreciated. My head is in the clouds.

- Jun 12, '12 by TheCommuterWhat type of healthcare setting is this? I have never been asked to demonstrate skills at any type of job interview. To be honest, many of the people who conduct interviews have been in administrative positions for so long that they have forgotten many skills.
