CNA in SNF vs. Acute

by tclouse

I have been working as a CNA in a skilled nursing and it has taken a toll on my body, will it be any easier in an Acute Care? What is the work load difference?

My experience is that acute care is more physically demanding.Possibly fewer patients, much more involved, much sicker, more demanding.

It depends upon the acute care area you're in. However, even if you have a lot of "walkie talkies", it's still very physically demanding work.
