Challenging the Board

Hello!

I need help! I have challenged the LVN board in CA and will be taking the NCLEX soon. I am wondering if I will be able to transfer my license to MD/VA/DC. I was told that if I challenge the board I wont be able to take my license out of CA. I am a Navy Vetern and was a Hospital Corpsman. Is it true?

This is true. If you successfully challenge the boards in California, your LVN license will be valid only in California. This type of license cannot be endorsed into any other state.
