Nurses LPN/LVN
Published Nov 21, 2012
I have a job at a hospital as a CNA and I'm currently preparing to take boards for my LPN. Will my job just bump me up because I hear that you can't work in a hospital as a LPN. If I'm wrong correct me. Thanks for the input :)

There are LPN's working in some of Connecticut's hospitals. Very few hosptials here have LPN's but there are some.

One of my previous employers still hired LPN's to work the floor (as of 3 yrs ago when I worked there), St. John Macomb in the northern suburbs of Detroit, if you're able to relocate...
Yup they still do

I was a student nurse tech at a hospital and I was told if I took my lpn boards and passed I would no longer have a job. My boss at the time told me not to take boards and I told her I had to and wanted too. I no longer work at the hospital and work as a charge lpn in long term care.
