Can they just bump me up?

Nurses LPN/LVN

Published

I have a job at a hospital as a CNA and I'm currently preparing to take boards for my LPN. Will my job just bump me up because I hear that you can't work in a hospital as a LPN. If I'm wrong correct me. Thanks for the input :)

There are LPN's working in some of Connecticut's hospitals. Very few hosptials here have LPN's but there are some.

Thank you Jadelpn :)

I got accepted to the center for allied health nursing education, nj campus. I start the program January 2, 2013. How is the program there?

Skwalker I also got accepted to the program too .. I was wondering the same thing . I am kind of nervous

One of my previous employers still hired LPN's to work the floor (as of 3 yrs ago when I worked there), St. John Macomb in the northern suburbs of Detroit, if you're able to relocate...

Yup they still do

I was a student nurse tech at a hospital and I was told if I took my lpn boards and passed I would no longer have a job. My boss at the time told me not to take boards and I told her I had to and wanted too. I no longer work at the hospital and work as a charge lpn in long term care.
