Alzheimers assisted living

Hi

Are there any LPNs out there working with Alzheimer's patients in assisted livng? I'm currently working with such patients and am loving it but am not 100% satisfied with my job. How do other LPNs working in this kind of setup feel?

Default Re: Alzheimers assisted living
Hi
I work 11-7 in an Alzheimers unit in An assisted living facility. I have 23 residents. For the most part I love it. Even as an LNA I always preferred that unit over the Assisted side. Not too say it doesn't get hectic at times.
