About being an LVN/LPN; need some insight please

I have a ton of questions but will only ask a few, for those experienced individuals who changed from a 9 - 5 career/job to become a nurse, LVN/LPN.



I was wondering:



What were you doing before, just your last job or two?

How was your transition (did it take you long to adjust, responsibilities, hours,days…)?

Did it take long for things to click; for you to feel comfortable or did you struggle for awhile?

What did you find the hardest or most confusing: calculation of meds....?

Is there anything you know now that you wish you knew when you switched careers/jobs?

Are you happy with your decision?

What area do you work in; Doc's office, LTC...?

Any suggestions for career changers?

Do you find this to be a very stressful career;has it created a lot of anxiety for you?
