$35.00/hr.!!

Wow...
So I interviewed about 2 weeks ago for this NOC position at a SNF in Northern Ca, but unfortunately they filled that position with someone else, but they told me that I was their second choice.

Fastforward to today.

I get a call from the DON and she said she had a full time Day positon available, and that she was offering it to me!

Then the kicker, she said it paid 35.00/hr!, I knew that, but thought that was for RN, not LVN! and especially NOT a new grad! That is with Benefits, and Full time! It's a 49 bed Alzheimers facility, so I will approx have like 15 patients!! (not 50 like I have now)

Oh my goodness, I have been working at this TERRIBLE SNF oncall, and I mean TERRIBLE, so I said Adios today!

All I have to say to all the new grads is that something willl EVENTUALLY happen for you!! It did for me!

I can't wait

Wow! $35.00/hr is GOOD! I too, saw a post in Fremont, CA for $35.00/hr for an LVN with 5 years of experience. Good job! I STILL haven't found a good part-full time LVN job (and I've been out of school for over a year). : / I live in the San Jose/bay area, Ca.

That's wonderful! Hope it continues to be as nice as it seems to be now. You are very blessed to only have 15 residents and make THAT much money and days/benefits, to boot!! Keep us posted on how it's going!
