LSU BSN Fall 2012 applicants - Page 12

My aunt works for LSU nursing and she also told me that there are people who got in with the minimum GPA requirements (2.8)...AND there were even people on the alternate list with a 3.1...ahh!!! That can be good or bad news for some...

I believe that people who doesn't attain a 3.5-4.0 gpa is capable of doing/being anything they strive to be. Just gotta work hard and have goals and dedication! =D

A lot of the forms in the new student section on the website has been changed to reflect the 2012/2013 school year while others have not. The course schedule is also posted. I hope this means they will be sending the letters out any day now!

Checking everyday to see if anyone got their letters! Charity got theirs this week i hope we get them soon, i mean its only fair lol

Did anyone receive anything yet?? The wait is so nerve wrecking!!

Does anyone want to be brave and call the office of student affairs and see what the status of the letters are?

I'm probably going to call them if I don't hear anything by Wednesday...I'm leaving for a cruise on Saturday, so I want to be sure I'm able to respond to the letter if I get in (since you only have 7 days to do so--and I'll be gone for 7 days!) I'm starting to freak! Hopefully we hear something soon!

LSU's website says that it takes approximately 4 weeks for notifications of acceptance and denial to be mailed out..LAST YEAR, the second round of interviews was March 10 and letters went out April 13-14. That is 3 1/2 weeks. Soooo if things go accordingly, we should all find out this Wednesday. Patience my fellow prospective nursing students, patience.

Got my letter this morning, I'm in! Good luck everyone and know that the letters are on their way!!!!
