    Mamisu so you also accepted awards, but it is not reflecting your account? I was starting to wonder if I was the only one. Strange, I have financial aid showing up in LOLA, but my account has a positive balance. Have you found out anything as to when it will start reflecting our accounts? I'm gonna go tomorrow and pay out of pocket for my ebooks. I just can't wait any longer on financial aid.

    I called the lady yesterday and she said to not worry about the classes, they won't be dropped. Apparently, the money will reflect on the 15th in the acct but if you have any money is left over they're gonna refund the money on your higherOne card after the 15th day of school.

    This is so stressful. It does not seem as though any of the dates we were given mean anything to anyone but us. I'm waiting on my book voucher because I want to purchase my ebooks and my nurse pak at the same time. I hope to get the book credit tomorrow but if not, I'm waiting until Saturday when the book vouchers are available.

    Hey guys,
    I also am having my share of problems with financial aid, signed the promisory note but still no award posted...very frustrating! I already bought my books and have started going through the homework. I am not sure what needs to be done with the nursepak, higher one card (which I do not have), or anything else...quite confusing with no real direction from anyone at school, please respond if you have any information that might help to clear this up...also, is there anyone in mandeville/covington who will be interested in carpooling?

    Try to recheck LOLa as far as your fin aid. I checked about 8:00am and my funds were posted. You can purchase the nurse pak at City Park for 43.00. You should have got the higher one card in the mail. It is only used for your refund. Money will be refunded to that card after the offical 14th day of school. However, you can request the monies to be released to your bank by filling out a form online and mailing it back in to higher one. See the financial aid for more info. I believe you could just stop by the northshore campus. for that!

    Just confirmed that bookstore credits do start today. Also the nurse pack costs $43. My friend just purchased his today! Heard the system was down so, you might want to call be fore you go!

    My financial aid is still not reflecting my account. The lady at financial aid told me that if it is not reflecting your account yet then it will on Monday. Hoping this is the case. Just wanted to let everyone know. I did go to the book store and purchased my books out of pocket today. $467 for the books and $40 for the nurse pack then taxes of course. The system was down when I was there earlier. So if you plan to use financial aid for your books you may want to call first to make sure the system is up and running. Has anyone gotten any information about how we are suppose to get on blackboard? I still haven't figured it out.
