Northshore vs. NOLA: gripes and blessings?

I would love to hear about your +/- experiences at different employers throughout southeast Louisiana. . . . I am specifically curious about professional experiences related (but not limited) to: education/orientation quality, company culture, employee morale, superior/subordinate relationships, etc. . . . All observations and perceptions are appreciated! I am currently a student, and I have plenty of time to make a decision about where to settle into the beginning of my nursing career, but I would like to build bridges where it would be most appropriate and beneficial to me. . . . I have had wonderful and telling experiences from previous companies that I've worked for, and know that it is difficult to find the perfect fit, in terms of job security. . . .
