LPN Programs Delta maybe??

U.S.A. Louisiana

I am looking to get into a LPN program, but where I attend now "Delgado" is too hard and a waiting list just to get in. I am in Metairie/ New Orleans area. Any other places? How is Delta of Covington? I am thinking of going there.

A girl I work with graduated from Delta and never had anything bad to say about it. I believe she said it was just expensive. I went to RPCC-tec in Gonzales. There's also a program in Hammond and Reserve through the tech schools. Besides delgado it's the only Nola school I know of.

It is expensive lol, but thanks for the reply. I wonder if I did a bridge program later they would take the credits from Delta.

I'm doing a bridge at Nicholls. They don't necessarily give u credit for the classes but you can test out of them. I tested out of fundamentals.

What did Nicholls want? What were the requirements ?

Just to have the first 35 hours completed.

Selu is really good as well I just never applied since they made the new changes with how they calculate GPAs.

I just went to Compass College and Delta today had to take the Compass test for the CC and passed it so I am leaning toward Compass College. Delta is nice, great clinical externships like Ochsner, but the cost of cash I have to put down on top of Fin Aid is a Big draw back.
