I just submitted my application to Charity School of Nursing for the Spring 2013 semester. The deadline is May 15, 2012. Has anyone else out there applied for this semester?

I talked with someone at the school today--the second 301 section was a mistake. I'm now in section 308 for Nursing I and 303 for Pharmacology I.

I just had a few random questions not sure if anyone can answer them.

Just wondering if anyone bought the stethoscope already. Was debating which one to buy.

Also, anyone know the price on the Nurse Pak we have to purchase?

If I buy the ebook bundle can I print certain pages that I would want to mark on or highlight? I am debating if I should buy the actual books to be able to mark on them or just do the ebook bundle. When I priced it there was a 50 dollar difference which I would pay for the convenience of not having to carry all the books, but I want to be able to have the option to print pages if I want to.

That's a great question! I'm debating also especially since I've never done ebooks for any class I will be reading constantly.

I would assume so but not sure.

Get a Littmann or Prestige! All the nurses I work with have on or the other......all the doctors have Littmann stethoscopes!

Hello jewels2012 the Nurse pak at UA uniforms in Metairie are $45. It includes a stethoscope,blood pressure cuff and I think a pen light and scissors.

That's not the nurse pack....the nurse pack is needles, iv saline, gauze, etc that I know of! The other items are just required supplies!

And I am pretty sure you get the nurse pack on campus bc of the contents but I could be wrong!

Yes, from what I understand, the nurse pak should be bought at the book store. Every program has different items in their nurse pack, so it's important that you purchase them where indicated in your paperwork.
