Charity SON Spring 2012

U.S.A. Louisiana

Published

Hello all,

I have been looking around at the website for a while now but just decided to join today. Am about to apply to Charity SON for the Spring 2012 class. I just took my TEAS two days ago and got a 84.7 which brings my profile score up to a 70. I'm pretty sure this is a competitive score but I'm getting freaked out because I keep hearing that Charity is accepting less and less people each year. Is anyone in the same boat as I am? My application is due Feb 28 and then its going to be a while before I even get the accept/denial letter, but the suspense is already killing me! Its going to be a long few months ahead of me.

My score was 65 so I am assuming that it was between 55-60 to start thats what it was last semester.

I called today and the lady looked me up and said I'm in!!!! yay!!! good luck to everyone else! And congratz to those of you who got in!!

I called last week and was also accepted didn't want to spoil the news for anyone else yet but I am so excited and nervous at the same time. Good luck to everyone

I'm new to the site... been keeping an eye on this board. What were yall's profile scores? Congratulations on your acceptance!! Hoping for good news as well!

From the numbers on the latest profile sheet for 2012 I had between a 60-65

Got my acceptance package today!!! Yayyy I'm in! Good luck everyone!!

Congrats :)

I just got my acceptance letter in. Wow, its like a weight has been lifted. Congrats too all of my future classmates. I can't wait to start. See yall soon.

Congratulations!! I'm so excited! The lady told me I would definitely get in, but it feels so good to have something in writing! :yeah:

Just got my acceptance letter also can't wait to start this adventure and meet everyone along the way. Congrats to everyone who was accepted.:)

RN2B12,

I think you should call Charity and very politely speak with the nursing admissions advisor and ask what she recommends that you do to improve your score to get in. For instance, is it just a matter of improving your TEAS score? Was it your GPA? Are you close to being on a waitlist or should you just apply for the LPN program? Good luck. I know you are frustrated for not getting in for the Fall. I hope things start looking better. If you don't mind me asking, was was your TEAS score and GPA? You can IM me if you want.
