Anyone on the northshore applying? Would love to find a group to study/carpool with after we get in!

Thank you for the update.

I just called. She said that they did not start looking at them until last week. She said even if you turned in documents early they didn't look at it early. She said that they will finish up approvals by Friday this week. Hope this helps!

My immunitrax was approved this afternoon. I didn't receive an email of the status change. So make sure you keep checking. :)

Will do! Thanks..

I wouldn't reccommend the instructor for EJ at all I've heard alot of negative about her. She lectured our group once and was not helpful at all.

Ok thanks!! I want LSU to go to but I figured if I can not get it try to get something closer to me.

Does anyone know anything about Oschner Kenner clinicals?

Yes took mine there and LOVED the instructor! She is very knowledgeable and enjoys what she does! Its a smaller hospital and small unit that your on for clinicals so its easy to get comfortable with everything as a new student.

The reason that level 1 students now have 2 Clinical sites is because the state now requires that CNAs must work a certain number of hours in a nursing home to be eligible for certification. Since all nursing students who complete the first semester are technically CNAs, charity had to change clinical locations. I will be level 2 in the fall and that is what my instructor told me at the end of last semester.

Any recommendation for stethoscope and BP cuff?
