U.S.A. Louisiana

Hello everyone, I know the application date is not till August but I am already nervous and stressed about getting accepted to CSN for spring 2017. Anyone else applying this August?

Yes I took it a few months ago. I think the book helps a lot! I studied for a week and made an 82, make sure you know the conversions in math! Lol that part was tricky. I'm going to schedule to take it again so I can try to make an 85 or higher!

Yes that's the only part I'm not confident on. I will definitely be studying a lot before the exam!

Did yall take the HESI before A&P and how do you go about scheduling?

-- Debating if to self-study A&P and take the HESI or just wait until I am done with A&P 1 over the summer.

I am taking A&P I first. Everyone I know said they didn't do well if they took it first. However, if you are an effective at self study maybe it would work for you. I do know it's only 25 questions on A&P

I took both A&P classes like 2 years before I took the hesi, I didn't remember much , but if you study the hesi study guide you should be fine, it really helped me. And like future rntobe said the a&p part is only 25 questions. No harm in taking it now and see how you do. You can always take it again if you need to.. Good luck!

What guide did you use?

What guide did you use?

I used the HESI Admission Assessment Exam Review, Edition 3, Elsevier. There was a link to buy this on Delgado 's website. I think if you type hesi info you'll see the link about the exam review book. It should be the same one unless they've changed it.

Ok awesome that's the one I have! Do you feel that it adequately prepared you?

I am applying! I've got most of my prerequisites. I'm taking APII lab and lecture over the summer. Very nervous but I'm ready!!!

Does anybody have a clue about how to go about applying?

Hello everyone,

I am attended Charity School of Nursing in Spring 2009, but I could not finish due to health reasons. Afterwards, I went on to get degrees in other areas instead of returning. Now I am ready to return, and hopefully I will be admitted for the Spring 2017 semester. I am nervous!
