You get so many points based on certain categories. For example, 10 points if you already have a bachelors degree, 5-10 points if you are already a CNA, 20 points if you've already taken your A&P's, 10 points if you've taken A&P 1 and are enrolled in A&P 2. 10 points for GPA above 3.0, 15 points above 3.5., and certain points based on your TEAS score. I may not be exact on this. I believe there is a point scale on the dcc.edu website under charity SON under prospective students. You have to have 50 for them to consider you. Many don't get in on the first try. If you haven't taken A&P 2 then apply after you take it, go for a higher TEAS score, or try to get your science/math GPA up.
