hi i just started on this website so i am still trying to learn how to do things on this website, so can you please tell me how to send you a private message:heartbeat

I Figured It Out Like Duhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am thinking about applying 2 the nursing program at BRCC, but I'm not sure. I heard half of the students failed in one class, and now they are taking the class again with the same teacher. Does anybody no what's going on:confused:

hi i am actually not sure on what is going on there i did not get into the program,:nurse: i am applying other places due to the unorganizational place it is.i have heard the program is tough but still a good program i don't know anything about the students failing and taking the same teacher over.

I took my pre-reqs at BRCC, and we lost at least half of my A&PII class. Most of the students had too many other commitments with family and work to devote the amount of time needed to do well in the class. BRCC doesn't require you to take A&PII until you're accepted into the nursing program, so I hear many students find it nearly impossible to study for A&PII and for their nursing courses. When I took A&PII, we started with 30-40ppl, and by the final, there were about 12 left. One A, about 4 Bs, a few more Cs, and the rest were praying to pass. I suspect that anatomy class is one of the major reasons we see nursing students having to retake classes.

I'm taking a&pI this semester and i plan to apply to brcc, olol and su in the spring since i took the other prereqs. My friend at su said one of the teachers at brcc was fired from su and olol becuse to many students failed her classes.

although the A&PII class was difficult, it wasn't any more difficult than the other Biol/Kin classes I took at LSU. I thought the tests were fair. :twocents:

my grade in a&pI is a B right now, my friend was talking about a nursing teacher who got fired form su and olol. is that true?

I am a student at BRCC also...curious if you could send me a private message of the teachers name. Many new teachers have been added this semester. A heads up for studying is greatly appreciated :)

Is it true BRCC lost their nursing dean and the program can not get accredited? What will happen if I get accepted in the spring, can I work as a RN?

i would like to know that also, because i am re applying for the fall of 2009.

eyespy i would like to know where you heard that because, dosen't that mean that the students who are graduating are not going to be able to work at certain places do to it not being accredited, i heard that some places don't hire you unless you have graduated from a accredited instituition. some one who is in the nursing school please clear this up for us.
