I applied for the RN program for Fall 16 (my second time around). Letters should be mailed 3/7/16.

I just searched the internet for study guides. But if you did well in your classes and retain info well, that should suffice. Brush up on any subjects you don't feel confident in i.e. old notes, returned tests.

    Good Luck!!

Hello Ladies, I will be applying to the Pn program this fall also. Do you guys know if 80 points will be good for the PN program?
I also turned in my application for the RN program as well.

An 80 for the RN program should get you in without a doubt [emoji3]

I'm not sure what the cut off is this year. Did you take your hesi and compass? Have you talked to the advisor to see if they will give out the cut off score?

Hi, I am wondering if I will get in to charity nursing school for Fall of 2015. I have good scores (C or above) in all nursing degree requirement courses. I have >2 W's or drops. My cumulative gpa is not yet the required gpa, but I have the nursing pre req gpa. I got a 75 on my hesi, but am retaking it again. I also have great recommendations and a lineage of Charity nurses in my family. What do I need to do to increase mt chances of becoming a charity nurse? Any advice is very much appreciated!!! Thanks!

I start this fall 2016 for Delgado PN program and I am so excited. If anyone else is starting in August with me let me know. Been feeling a little stressed about getting all this stuff done before August 15.

    Hi, Congratulations!

I am am currently in the program and will be graduating in December. What questions do you have in reference to getting all material turned in?

Hi!! and congrats to you also
I have almost all my shots and everything done. Just wondering which teachers you had for level 1 and is it as hard as everyone has been telling us?

Thank you! I had the SC campus instructors for level 1. The second/third semester will be a rotation of instructors from both campuses. It is hard!!!!! You'll be transitioning from studying material for exams to answer questions strictly on that material, to answering questions on how to prioritize what you've studied in a given client/patient setting. Intro to PN/Med surg 1 was challenging for all of us on both campuses. Stay on top of your adaptive assignments(they make a difference in passing or failing) and study! Use your time wisely, especially if you decide to work while in the program. Don't be afraid to ask someone for help with understanding the material if you are having trouble & try not to wait until the end to ask for help if needed. You'll be fine.
    Good Luck :-))
