Stumped by a couple of things

by mriv226

I have been stumped by a couple of things in getting my business marketing ball rolling. First, my logo, do I really need one? I've chosen simple and sophisticated, mostly because I'm trying to do it myself and on a tight budget. Do I really need a website? Next I don't know where to begin with an intro letter and brochure to send out to attorneys. I'm wondering if anyone has a template I could use, and/or any other suggestions. I really want to make this happen but am stumped by these things, and when I go to the internet or books for guidance I feel like I spend a lot of time "researching" ideas and leave with nothing concrete accomplished. Please help me. Any thoughts/suggestions/comments appreciated!

Hello and Welcome to allnurses.com

We are happy that you joined us.

First, my logo, do I really need one? I've chosen simple and sophisticated, mostly because I'm trying to do it myself and on a tight budget.
Most businesses have logos. You really need to choose something that reflects you and your business. You can make it an image or as simple as a watermark of your business initials or your initials.

Do I really need a website?
In the beginning, it isn't really necessary. But, it is something you should consider on down the line once you get your business up and running. This is the technological age and your potential clients will seek you out.

Next I don't know where to begin with an intro letter and brochure to send out to attorneys. I'm wondering if anyone has a template I could use, and/or any other suggestions.

You can create a proto-type brochure on a Word template, then take to a very good printer and complete the product. But, unless you are excellent in this area (graphic art work), you should let someone do this for you.

Have you taken an LNC course? Do you already have a business name? Ordered letterhead, business cards, etc.?? Where are you exactly in all of this?

If you have other questions/concerns, please post here.

We hope you enjoy allnurses.com.

And, good luck with your marketing efforts.
