For those of you who have attended Vicki Milazzo's course, which level do you recommend? I am struggling with whether I should go for the VIP package with unlimited coaching, and all the resource material, or whether the basic (seminar only--limited resource material) package will get me what I need? I am going next week and could still upgrade, I just can't decide if I need to make the additional investment. Any advice???????

Hello, NrseNancy,:balloons:

Glad you chose to take the Milazzo course.

When I took it, I was at the Basic level. That is all you need to take the course. However, after I was there, I quickly upgraded to the next level. I received all the case studies at the time and had monthly mentoring. After passing the exam, I upgraded to the VIP level and am very glad I did that.

If you are truly serious about being as successful as you can, I suggest the VIP level. Really helps you in marketing and actually doing a case........unlimited mentoring.

But, you can make that decision later if all you want to do is the course.

I wish you great luck while in Atlanta!!! You will be a successful CLNC!!

Hi Nrse Nancy,

I took Vicki's course last Oct. in Atlanta. I started at the VIP level ( I had the money put aside - had been saving it). I found that having the extra case study material is very helpful and the unlimited mentoring helps so much when your just starting out. I refer to it all the time. I work as an Independent consultant and currently taking Nursing Forensic courses. Pay close attention to the marketing section. It wil be the lifethread of your new business.

I Have Not Yet Attended The Course But Am Going To Take The Vip Right From The Start. Yes It Is Expensive But I Believe The Unlimited Mentoring Will Make It Worth It.

I Am Signing Up For The May Course In Chicago. I Am Excited But Apprehensive As Well. My Biggest Fear Is Not Being Able To Decipher Dr's Handwriting.

I Have Only Been A Nurse For 6 Years And Have Worked Er Mainly, And Some Nursing Home, Telemetry, And General Medsurg. I Am Truly Looking Forward To Doing This.

I Am Always Open To Suggestions Or Comments That May Help Me And Others Out That Are Just Getting Started.

Thanks

Teresam

Howdy!

I took the VIP course in April--I recommend it just because you have more access to help--you email them as often as you need to for help. The basic and the executive have limited mentoring. I also went to the 2 day apprenticeship. I think it's helped me, but I still have a way to go!:p

WELL I JUST DID IT. I ORDERED MY MATERIALS FOR THE VIP COURSE. IT IS ALMOST A LOAD OFF MY MIND. IT IS A POSITIVE STEP. NO MORE PUSSYFOOTING AROUND.

WISH ME LUCK

I am Soooo proud for you. You will never regret this decision, TERESAM!

Thanks Siri

I Must Admit I Am Scared. I Know I Should Do Well But I Have That Nagging Fear Of Dr's Handwriting. I Will Have To Get Over This. I Cant Wait For My Materials To Arrive Now.

I Am Telling Myself That I Will Do Well. That Is Why I Chose The Vip So I Can Get The Mentoring. I Know I Will Benefit From It.

Thanks Very Much For Answering My Posts

Teresam

TERESAM, you go, Girl!! I just got home from the Institute. Thanks to Siri and legalnurse22, I upgraded to VIP. I am so glad I did. I believe the mentoring and the resources will be so helpful to me. I am working on my marketing plan, etc. this afternoon. Wish me luck! Will keep you posted!

Hey, NrseNancy. :balloons: What did you think about the course? The sessions are a hoot aren't they?

If/when you need some help, you may contact me as well. I am always here.

You will forever be thankful for that VIP level. Proud of you.

Let us know when you hear the results of your exam. I am sure you aced it.

I thought the sessions were pretty intense the first couple of days, however, Vickie and the other CLNC's who present are very good at applying the content to real life. The entire program is very organized and professionally done. I am so glad that I chose to go to the 6-day instead of just doing home study.

And thanks for your offer to help when I need it. I am sure I will at some point!!

Thanks Nurse Nancy. I Am Working At Getting Over The Fear Of Not Reading The Docs Writing. I Sent For My Materials And They Should Be Here This Week. I Hope. Being That I Am 51, The Brain Is Sometimes Slower So I Need The Jump Start For The Seminar..........................lol

I Am Looking Forward To It. Especially After Being Pulled To The Stepdown Unit Last Night And Having A Particularly Grueling Nigh, I Am Ready To Slow Down A Bit. At Least As Far As The 12 Hour Shifts On My Broken Down Feet.

Thanks For The Encouragement. I Am Sure I Will Need A Lot Of It

Teresam
