    I am interested in this profession like everyone on this board. I have definitely had some trouble finding decent sites that provide good content without trying to market something, but you really can't avoid it. I especially found it difficult to find sites that provide info on marketing your services as an LNC without having to pay for Vickie's course.

    The only sites that I found that were decent was the aalnc.org site and a site that showed me where to find some good books about legal nursing under their literature section - legalnurseaid.com. I can't remember how I found it to be honest. The site didn't have much info but claims that it will become a complete portal for all info regarding the legal nurse profession. Another great book is Marketing for the Legal Nurse Consultant by Betty Joos. Good luck!

    Allnurses.com is a great source of information regarding the LNC career. Just check out the sticky threads here in this forum (especially the educative ones).

    I'm not familiar with legalnurseaid.com. The site didn't really offer any specific information w/o having to contact them so I cannot comment on whether it is helpful or not. The "About Us" link didn't offer any information about who they are..........

    Just be careful when researching sites that do not offer specifics yet make big claims.

    Good luck with your research to become LNC and if you have specific questions/concerns regarding the career path, please post in the Legal Nursing forum.
