I'm new to this forum, however I took the VM course 4 years ago, did not reapply for certification and could kick myself for not continuing. I became easily discouraged, gave up too quickly and now not working as CLNC. And now I don't how know to start over but after reading this forum I feel encouraged. thank you. Any ideas anyone? I am obese so I worry about the "good impression part" of the cold call ,how successful iscontacting attorneys via email. thanks for any help

    hello and welcome to allnurses.com

good to have you with us.

have you checked witht the vmi to see if you can recertify? i don't know how that works, but it certainly couldn't hurt to find out if you can be recertified as a clnc.

but, if you do not, i am sure you realize it isn't necessary to do so to practice as a legal nurse consultant.

several lncs that i know use email as a marketing tool. so, you could too. just fine tune your intro/marketing letter. create a data base of attorney-client contacts.

hope that you will give it another try. sounds as if you are ready now.

if you have other questions/concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me via private message and/or post here.

good luck. and, we hope you enjoy the site here at allnurses.com.
