Expert Witness

I recently landed my second case!! I am an expert witness for this one. I know that everything is discoverable as an EW, but is it okay to make a little something (like a timeline) for the attorney to be used in the case? What I mean is kind of show what else I can do so maybe he can use me on another case or one of his partners can use me on a case? Is that okay to do?

Hello and congratulations on getting that case!!!

Anything you give that attorney regarding the case is discoverable. So, it is advisable to not do that.

Now, you can market to the attorney as a consultant and give samples of your work including other material that shows him what you can do.

But, not for this case.

Good luck and hope you continue to be successful.
