Attorney Conference and Exhibiting Idea

I was thinking about taking brochures, cards and folders. I found some nice professional looking folders that you put your business card in the slots on the front. I was planning on putting a work product or two in the folder with nice letter thanking them for taking the time to look the information over, a brochure, and some information on what a legal nurse consulting can do for the attorney. I could lay them out nicely on the table, put some cards, candy or some other goody for them to take. What would you do? I think it's too late to have pens or something like that printed up with my name on it. What else could I do?
How may folders would you take? Lets just say 300 people are scheduled to attend, do I take 300 folders or more, or do you just count on a lower number to take them and take less?
Any help would be greatly appreciated! But what do I do with that darn easel!?

I got them at Office Depot. They are blue and have a double gold stripe running across the bottom that encircles the business card holder. They are called Monogram Design Executive Portfolios.

The conference is Sept. 8th and 9th.

sirI and everyone, Thank you for all the great info! I ordered ink pens with my business name on them, a tabletop display briefcase and I also found a portfolio that will stand on my exhibit table to display my work product. I am hoping it will catch their eye from a distance instead of a flat book on the table and they can just flip through it. This is getting exciting!
