Hey,
I'm an LPN with a BA and an MBA (healthcare management). I would like Legal Nurse Consulting as a viable alternative...
Any market here for LPN's?
Kind regards,

Hello,
In order to to complete a program as an LNC and receive a certification/degree, the requirement is to have an active, unrestricted RN license.
I've not met LPNs in this field. I feel sure some are practicing without any formal education as an LNC, especially those who are paralegal or legal assistant first and then became LPN.

Thanks, Siri. Guess I better look at ASN programs first.

After you have about 3-5 years of experience as an RN, then I would suggest you receive education as an LNC from one of the many programs.
Right now, the requirement is as I said. The move for at least a BSN is coming, however.
Good luck!

I am going to look at the whole Paralegal approach with LPN. That might be better for my situation (and since I'm approaching 40!).
Thanks,
