I am applying next semester for JCC's RN program. I am one of those people that have to work at least 3/4 time and go to school. I was just wondering what the school schedule for JCC's nursing program is? Ive heard the first few semesters are just 3 days a week but of course require an insane amount of studying (as do all nursing programs). Any info is helpful! Thanks!

I can't speak directly to other semesters. - Jan 3 by lizsophia329Quote from leckzielooHey! I am currently in third semester at JCTC and basically each semester for the first week or 2...you have class 3-4 days/week. In second semester classes are on Tuesdays but occasionally we had an extra day to make up for breaks. In third semester our class is every Wednesday with again some occasional extra days around break time. Second semester most clinicals were 12hr 1 day a week with the exception of one group that split theirs into 1 8 hr day and 1 4 hr day. Most of third semester is 1 12 hr dayWorking is rough during nursing school but it is doable. I work 24hrs/wk but some work full time and have families...I praise those people for I would have lost my mind. My advice is to do lots and lots of practice questions...Davis success serious has some great books for every semester that you can use. Find a small group of buddies and set up study meetings a day or two before a test. This helps refresh your memory! Good luck! This is my first post!
