    We (my wife and I) will be relocating to Wichita in the near future and would appreciate some information on the job market in Wichita. Specifically, we are interested in agency nursing - are there enough hours for full time work and what is the pay rate for specialty areas (ICU, ER)?
    Also, we are would would like to know the pay rate for staff positions in the local hospitals, both on a registry bases and an FTE basis.

    PICU at Via Christi with a few years previous experience $24/hr. Oncology with 1 year previous experience at Wesley $19/hr. It could range a bit with pay differentials but generally between $20-$25/hr from my experience anyway. Hope this helps a bit!
