- Sep 1, '08 by queenjeanMy hospital employs a couple of LPNs on the OB floor, mainly as scrub techs for sections, and also to help the RNs out on the floor or in the nursery. I think that our hospital is an exception, though. When I was looking for LPN work in KC, I couldn't find a hospital that said they would hire an LPN in mother/baby.
