    Most LPN jobs are in home health and LTC (@18.00/hr). LPN pay in hospitals is so low @ 12.50/hr. Hope this helps...

    My hospital employs a couple of LPNs on the OB floor, mainly as scrub techs for sections, and also to help the RNs out on the floor or in the nursery. I think that our hospital is an exception, though. When I was looking for LPN work in KC, I couldn't find a hospital that said they would hire an LPN in mother/baby.
