I recently just got my letter from the University of Kansas nursing school
and I found out I got wait-listed #10 out of 72 people. It's really depressing because I was so set to get in and I was so ready. Now, I have to wait 2 more weeks to see if I could get in. I knew it was super competitive, but I thought I was all set for it. I had a great GPA, I have leadership (RA, sunday school teacher, pianist for my church, children's worship leader), and I volunteered at Menorah Medical Center for over 270 hours... and I still got wait-listed. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced being on the wait-list? I'm just so nervous I won't get in, even though the advisor said I have a "excellent" chance because last year 28 people got accepted from the wait-list.
Anyone else experienced this??
