CNA State EXAM!!! (Freaking OUT) Sept 16th

U.S.A. Kansas

Published

Okay here goes I just took my final last friday passed and missed eight out of 100, But will those questions be simular to the ones on the test? I had a very lousy teacher when I say lousy I mean L-O-U-S-Y. Al she really talked about was the polotics of healthcare which I don't even think will be on the state test. Any Kansas CNA's here can you HELP ME!!!:crying2:

My Exam is on the 16th this month, and while I'm very anxious to become a CNA and work as one, The test is making lose sleep all of sudden

i havent ever taken that exam, but i think you feel that way regardless of whatever the test is when it is one like that! just relax, i know its hard, but try not to stress too much. whatever is going to happen is going to happen, and just do your best, study hard, and take the day off before you take the test! get a massage, or get your nails done, do something to relax and take your mind off of it!

I took the exam 3weeks ago, is not bad at all, what worries me is the waiting time to know if you pass or not in kansas, I was so depress and anxious to know what the result was, I think they should change the system of waiting, they should tell people right away like other state do, and then wait for the licence in the mail.

Otherwise is not bad, just go through your class past text questions, and know what the average temperatures are.

Good luck

Wow thanks so much guys, How did you do on the skills testing, like making the bed, and taking vitals???

The CNA exam is easy!! I think it was easier than almost all my college classes tests. It is really just common sense stuff.

I called Topeka and it takes 3 weeks. In Florida it takes 24hours. What happend to the dam computer in this backwards state? ******** KANSAS SUCKS

I took the exam several years ago, and don't even remember any of the questions, but it is mostly just common sense more so than anything you ought to study. You just need to know the limitation of your scope of practice. If it is not something that you are supposed to deal with (someone is bleeding, complaining of any medical problem, can't breath, have a question about their medicine, etc.) you just get the nurse. As a general rule, even in nursing school, those practice exams tend to be a little tougher than the real thing.
