New RN-lost about CEU's

by kashmir

I'm a new RN and will not need to renew my Kansas license until 2011, but I am completely lost about CEU's. I know you can do them online or in journals and that you have to pay for some. But what do you do with the certificates? Does the State send you anything before your license expires? Just curious!! Thanks!

You keep the certificates. I don't know about Kansas, but in California, they just want to know that you have fulfilled the requirement. The BRN could contact you for proof.
