Hello,
I'm a brand new RN hailing from an ADN program, and I am planning for my future continuing education via an RN to BSN program. Right now, I'm only researching potential programs. The KU RN to BSN program interests me, and I was wondering if any graduates or current students of this program could comment on it. I'm interested to know:
What is the program like?
How did/do you like distance education?
What do you think of the quality of education?
The KU nursing web site states that you must have graduated from an NLN-accredited ADN program, but adds that exceptions to that rule can be made in certain circumstances. My particular program was not NLN accredited (it is accredited by my state, but NLN is voluntary and I gather they chose not to try for it). Has anyone attended/currently attending KU who graduated from a non-NLN accredited ADN program?
Any information on this particular program would be very helpful. Thanks in advance for your help!
