Job Description
Job Summary:
The RN Administration Representative Coordinates the daily operations of staff to ensure operational units are running effectively and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
  • Provides oversight for multiple hospital departments in the absence of unit management. Addresses patient care, staffing, and any other issues that may arise.
  • Assumes responsibility for supervision and administrative decision making for the care and coordination of nursing and patient care services during the evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
  • Ensures that hospital policies and procedures are followed.
  • Participates in patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications Licenses/Certifications/Registration:
  • Required Credential(s):
    • Certified BLS Provider obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
    • Licensed Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Preferred Credential(s):
    • Certification specializing in Advanced Cardio Life Support.
    • Certified Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
Education:
  • Minimum Qualification: Associate's Degree in Nursing (RN) by hire date to position
  • Preferred Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (RN) by hire date to position
Work Experience:
  • Minimum Qualification: Three years of experience working as an Registered Nurse (RN) within a hospital environment.
  • Preferred Qualification: One year of experience working in a nursing team lead or charge nurse role. Five years of experience working as a Registered Nurse (RN) in an acute care setting.
