Position Description Summary:
This position is responsible for providing medical consultation, assessment and treatment to Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi students, as well as consultation and programming to the Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi campus community.
Provide direct patient care, assessment, counseling, preparation and treatment at Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP ) level.
Master’s degree of Science in Nursing with a specialty as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Six (6) years of related experience.
Licensed as Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice in the State of Texas.
Unencumbered license as Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice in the State of Texas.
Certified as a cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR ) for Health Providers.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion in confidential matters.
Intermediate skills in standard office equipment, medical equipment, and microscope.
College Health or Community Health experience.
Highly skilled in using electronic health record system for patient care.
Monthly Pay Range: Commensurate with Experience
