  1. Hello Everyone,
    I am an LVN in the good ole state of Texas. returned to school for my RN and hope to graduate this coming May. it has not been easy but I will continue to hang in there. I am in the middle of studying for my final test for Psyche which will be this Monday, then I will be through until next January when I start again. I think if I knew it would be this hard I might not have started back, but then again I aint no spring chicken (52 y/o) either. anyway, hello to everone out there.

    howdy... from central texas! where bouts in tejas you be?

    hang in there ... someday soon you will be glad you went back to school for your rn. btw, i did not start college until i was 32 yrs old, 1993; aas in st 1995, aas in nursing [adn] 1998, bachelors in science [bsn] 2004.

    Yep, sure do ... OR for the past 3 yrs, plus I worked on 3N/S Telemetry Floor 1998-2000.

    Awesome - that's where I want to be. Spent a lot of time in the OR in another hospital this semester (much closer to your house) and really, really fell in love with the OR.

    I'll let you know how my interview goes.

    Nancy is an excellent OR Nurse Educator. If accepted [hope so] we have a 6 month orientation for new grads. We do just about any surgical procedure in our OR Suite from head to toe, so you will get lots of experience.
