so new i'm not even in school yet

  1. Hi all--I'm new here. I'm a 10 year college alumnus with a journalism degree, making the decision to go back to school to pursue nursing--need more fulfilment in my job--marketing doesn't do that for me! I'm looking forward to meeting you on here, and I know you will be a great resource for me, as I have tons of questions!

    Hi Sam,
I'm not even in school yet either. Maybe we can help eachother with that
So far I'm just in the application process. I have to take 2 preliminary tests just to be accepted for the LPN program. I've been studying Medical terminology and will soon begin to study Math for meds. Class doesn't begin until March of 2008, but I have to pass these tests by mid december :uhoh21:

    Just an update
I was not approved for financial aid, and therefore can not afford to start LPN yet. So, I'm going for CNA. Class will still begin in March 2008, and I'll be done in June. It's not as big a step as I wanted to take, but atleast it's still moving forward. I won't need to take the preliminary tests I've been studying for, but it doesn't hurt to be ahead
