Scared to Death

  1. Hi guys,
    last night i came to the forum to get some support
    i asked the director of nurses after taking the ATI and passing what are my chances of passn the nclex he looked up my scores and told me only 68% and then told me I needed to study real hard it was too late for that because i was taking it the next day and then: the computer cut off on me dont even ask me at what # because i was so scared i didnt see any
    i have got anxiety i need help please tell me about your experiences

    ...take a deep breath, let it out, and try to relax. It's already a done deal and you will know in a few days how you did. That don was very insensitive. If he/she thought you needed more time studying it was good to voice it, but I don't take much stock in percentages...when it comes to testing.

    ...let us know how you did. Get some sleep, take a warm bath, relax, treat yourself to a nice meal.

    Good luck. We have an NCLEX forum here you can read to get others experiences. It's almost universal that it's a dreadful experience for almost everyone who takes it.

    Alhamdulillah, You passed. You will be the best nurse that you can be. If have a BSN or another degree - next can even be a MSN -hey?
    Enjoy doing good deeds and helping to cure the feeble, the old and sick.
    The best nursing is when you care for them as you would care for your OWN FAMILY.
    Find a good experienced nurse who REALLY care about YOU to teach the ROPES of practical nursing.
